HU-BRAIN aims to solve numerous issues facing society, including contributing to society by providing image inspection equipment to address labor shortages caused by declining birthrates and aging populations.

We have made the following donations to local schools in the areas where we operate, using our private placement bonds.

Support systems for human resource development and skill improvement

As a development-oriented company, we believe that our company’s most important assets are its people. We operate a system that offers across-the-board support for the self-directed initiatives of our employees and encourage their personal growth, including in areas not directly related to their work.

Creating employee-friendly work environments

Lodging house

Our new lodging house was built in 2021 for business travelers to the Shinshu Matsukawa office, our base for equipment manufacturing.
We have also created a large wooden deck (a great place to enjoy a drink while viewing the “Central Alps”), a large hall, and a hot spring bath so that employees can get to know each other better.

Environment

We acquired ISO 14001 certification, an international standard for environmental management systems, for our Osaka Head Office in January 2006 and our Shinshu Matsukawa Office in January 2009.
Moreover, we have been centralizing our management system since 2019 to improve our performance and enable faster-decision-making in response to changes in our business goals and the business environment for the organization as a whole.

Environmental Policy

We have set out the goal of reducing elements which increase environmental burdens through our activities: the development, design, manufacturing, and sale of image inspection equipment. We are also promoting continuous improvement of our environmental management system while conducting periodic reviews.
We also comply with applicable legal requirements related to environmental aspects of the company, and with other requirements, accords and the like to which we have signed up.

  1. 1987

    The company was established in Miyahara, Yodogawa-ku, Osaka with capital stock of 5 million yen

  2. 1988

    The company was given the name “Hu-Brain, Inc.,” and its head office was relocated to Nishinakajima, Yodogawa-ku, Osaka
    Initially, the company’s main business was the production of software for data logger systems

  3. 1989

    An imaging inspection system was delivered to Fujisawa Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (now Astellas Pharma Inc.)
    Thereafter, the company gradually shifted toward development of imaging inspection systems as its main business

  4. 1990

    Capital stock was increased to 10 million yen
    The image inspection machine HU-2000 was developed
    A color harness inspection machine was developed

  5. 1992

    A visual inspection machine for aluminum cans was developed

  6. 1993

    A inspection machine for inspecting scratches was developed using the shift subtraction method

We have enjoyed the support of our many customers ever since our establishment in December 1987. Now, we continue to grow each day as a technical group that responds to our customers’ varying needs.

What we strive for is a style of manufacturing that truly understands and anticipates the needs of the customer.

From JR Ina-Oshima Station, take Prefectural Road 59 and go straight ahead. Go past the “Kami-Arai traffic signal” (about 500 m). Turn right at Nanasugi Shrine. Turn right at the end of the road. Cross Miyagase-bashi Bridge over the Tenryu River. Go straight ahead on Prefectural Road 18 for about 2 km. Turn right at the three-way junction before Ikuta Post Office (where there is a signboard for Ikuta Industrial Park). You will see our office diagonally on the left.

From Iida

Take the Ryuto Line (Prefectural Road 18) towards Ikuta, Matsukawa. Go past the bridge at the border of Toyooka and Matsukawa. Keep going for 400 m. Turn left at the three-way junction just after Ikuta Post Office. You will see our office diagonally on the left.
